This is State of Jefferson Firearms Training Initial class. We strive to make it the best class available to our North state residents.
Bringing elements of classroom and range time, we can efficiently get you through the initial CCW process in the time mandated by the state, which is 16 hours.
Our class consists of classroom instruction on firearms laws, including use of deadly force, responsibility, awareness, and other elements to get you knowledgeable on obtaining your CCW.
Our range element consists of shooting and qualifying with all the guns you want to keep on your permit. Total time for class is 16 hours, and we typically complete the entire class in two days so you don’t have to make extra trips to the range.
What to bring to class:
All classroom materials are included. It’s a good idea to write down the make, model and serial number of your gun(s) before coming to class. This will save you a bit of time. (please no guns in the classroom)
What to bring for the range:
A minimum of 50 rounds for your primary gun. A minimum of 20 rounds for each additional gun you plan on qualifying with. (Note, always bring extra ammo just in case you have gun or ammo problems, or we have time for extra shooting)
Eye and ear protection
Lunch and drinks (you are welcome to eat/drink in the classroom)
A chair for the range
Dress for the weather. We typically shoot rain or shine
No open toed shoes or low cut shirts (flying brass is HOT!)

Please be at the range no later than 7:45am

Directions: (East on Antelope Blvd. to Hwy 36e, drive aprox. 12 miles to Manton Rd, left on Manton Rd. aprox. 4.5 miles. Green pipe gate on left, small white sign that says 26950. Drive through gate. Aprox. 500′ you will see sign on left to range.
Cost of class is $295.00 (Includes range fees and targets)
