California CCW Renewal Class

PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE PAGE CAREFULLY

 BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR CLASS!

This Class is for Tehama County residents including the city Red Bluff and the city of Corning, Glenn County and Shasta County.

Classes for these other areas will be coming very soon.

Our Concealed Carried Weapons (CCW) renewal class consists of an 8 hour class that will get you the re-certification you need to renew your CCW permit.

We teach this class 2-3 times per month, and is limited to 20 students.

In this class, we will cover the following and more:

  • Firearms safety
  • Use of deadly force as pertains to California law
  • New California laws
  • Responsible gun ownership
  • Mental health
  • Information and paperwork you need to obtain a non-resident multi-state CCW permit is included in this class

         

ATTENTION!!!!!

it’s very important that you use your legal name (the name on your driver’s license or ID) when registering for class!

Our classes fill fast.  Please contact me if you need to get into a class.  If it’s possible, I’ll schedule another class ASAP, or sometimes I have openings that come up.  530-227-9224

 

Classroom:

Everything you will need is provided.  Please bring your current CCW permit to class.

Range: 

Any guns you want to put or keep on your permit.

(These guns must now be in your name, and can not be shared on other permits.)

20 rounds of ammunition per gun (please bring more in case you have to re-shoot, re-qualify, etc.)

Eye and ear protection (prescription and sunglasses okay)

Your current CCW permit

Suitable clothing for the days weather, food, drinks, chair, rain gear, something to cover your gear if it rains, etc.

PLEASE!!!  No open top shoes, or low cut shirts.  Hot brass will be flying!

Class fee is $150, which includes range fees and targets.

 Venue for Class and qualification:

 Tehama Shooters Association Range, 26950 Manton Rd., Paynes Creek (Manton) CA.

 DO NOT RELY ON A GPS TO LOCATE THE RANGE.  THEY SOMETIMES DO NOT TAKE YOU TO THE RIGHT PLACE!

Directions:

Take Hwy 36E approximately 12 miles to Manton Rd. (Dales Station), turn left on Manton Rd., drive approximately 4 1/2 miles.  Gate is on the left side of the road with address on it.  Go through gate and bear left to the range. 

Please be at the range no later than 7:45am (PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE!)  You can not miss any of the class, not even 5 minutes, so please be early.
